RS/A is a design platform for collaboration and experimentation, based in San Francisco.  We believe in the integration of architecture, interior design, urban design, landscape design, engineering, and public art in order to generate holistic projects that meet the challenges of today's complex built environment. We believe that the formal expression of architecture should derive from a close understanding of the end user experience as well as the site and environmental conditions. Through research, we seek to understand the economic, social and ecological context of our projects in order to derive maximum value for both the client, community and the environment.  We look to question convention in order to meet the challenges posed by climate change on the built environment, providing adaptive solutions for a rapidly changing world.
